Hanson Li

After Stanford business school, Hanson Li focused on China as an investment banker and private equity investor.  After 10 years of too much travel , he decided to start his own firm, Salt Partners, to focus on his passion for the food and beverage industry.  Today, Salt owns a portfolio of restaurants, bars, and food companies mainly in San Francisco.  Locally, he serves on the board of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association and the Center for Asia America Media.  During the pandemic, he leaned in heavily into local policy and politics - participating in the founding of Stand with Asian Americans and SF Parent Coalition.  Last cycle, he hosted fundraisers (for BoE) and election guide education with TogetherSF.
